The leadership and membership of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) would like to congratulate our fraternal comrades in the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) on their successes in the recent Russia’s elections.

The KPRF continues to fight for the Russian working class despite the difficult and often hostile environment created by the country’s ruling class. Even though the Russian bourgeoise continues to tamper with the election process, the KPRF has still grown. This shows the world that the Russian working class is increasingly aware that capitalism has no future.

We in CPUSA take much pride in our comradely friendship with the KPRF. This relationship can be traced back to the earliest days 3rd International. While the Communist movement in Russia has suffered great setbacks, the members of the KPRF have never abandoned the Marxist-Leninist path. We will continue to stand in solidarity with the KPRF as the fight for the working class of Russia and as we work alongside each other as part of the larger International Communist movement.
