On behalf of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), we extend fraternal greetings and congratulations to the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the people of China in anticipation of the success of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The CPUSA stands in solidarity with the CPC as it works to further guide China on its socialist path.

Despite the struggles presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the CPC has maintained its course and demonstrated to the world that a society is capable of putting people before profits. We have seen China make strides in many fields over the last five years, since the previous National Congress. From the eradication of extreme poverty and the continued growth of China’s economy to the furthering of China’s whole-process people’s democracy, the CPC’s leadership has been an example for the entire world. We have no doubt that this upcoming National Congress will enable China to continue on its path of socialist development.

The CPUSA looks forward to building stronger internationalist ties with the CPC over the years to come. We resolutely stand against the Biden administration’s Cold War 2.0 policies. We resolutely stand against imperialist threats against China and all other countries and recognize American imperialism is the greatest threat to world peace. Within the USA our party continues its fight to meet the needs of our working class and people. We remain committed to building a broad front against the growing fascist danger. The coming midterm elections will help determine what direction our country goes in. We continue to struggle against war and imperialist aggression.

As the CPC prepares for its 20th National Congress, the CPUSA wishes our comrades in China success in their efforts to build a modern socialist country. Though we live in tumultuous times, our dedication to Marxism-Leninism, working-class internationalism and solidarity with the working class the world over will not waver. We are proud to stand by our comrades in China who struggle for world peace and a socialist future.
